On Tuesday, May 7, 2024, Ms. Moore, one of Del Amo's fifth-grade teachers, received the prestigious Carson City Outstanding Teacher Award at the Carson Civic Center. Ms. Zaid was in attendance to honor Ms. Moore's accomplishment.
